A little something I’ve wanted to do for some time came together just recently and I wanted to share. As much as i’d like to say i’m the most secure gal out there, lets face it – this is not the case. We all have things about ourselves we would change in an instant, some physical, some emotional. The fact is, that this life here is so short to waste feeling down on things. I want to love me for me! I want to embrace the things I can not change, and focus on committing to changing those I can. Two challenges to myself… first, to get in front/behind my own lens. To be silly, to throw all worries and details out the window. A physical tally of me, at this time in my life.

My second challenge was to assess me. Being totally open and honest (so much so that i’m sharing with you!) about the person I am. The good, and the not so good. This wasn’t easy to do, but I feel I hit it on the head and am proud of myself for being as candid as I was…

I’ll be printing these for my inspiration board. I am sure that as with anything in life, these words will evolve, hopefully some will diminish and others will be added. These are my roles, this is who I am.
My challenge to you?
(Of course i’m challenging you!) Do your own project! Pull out that camera or your camera phone, and throw out your insecurities. Shoot a random amount of pictures of yourself. Make silly faces, smile, or allow your true emotions to show through, no matter what that may look like. Make it about you and make it real.
Next, decide what medium you’ll be using to make your word art. If you are photoshop savvy, put together a little digital box such as mine. Perhaps you are a scrapper… if you don’t feel as though you have a creative bone in your body, pull our your journal and simply list the attributes, the details, the nitty gritty. Allow yourself to be free with your words.
I hope you might feel comfy blogging your findings! You may link to it, or feel free to share here on the blog. If you aren’t open to sharing, I do hope you’ll try to take on the challenge.
