I totally needed this! I've worked part time for the past 4 years so our days have been totally unscheduled just trying to manage every thing that needs to be done! I'm going to be a full time SAHM soon and have been craving a schedule. This is a great start for me, thank you!

I could live by schedules IF I didn't have 3 kids 3 years old and under. They do thrive on routine, but also have needs that crop up and interrupt carefully planned schedules. Lately I've been using simplemom's daily docket download and home management notebook downloads. This has helped me shape my days one day at a time. Another great book I reference often is "Managers of Their Homes". Here are the links to these resources.

trachelle, i love your "term" :) i am in the midst of really syncing my hard copy i keep printed and my itouch the hubby got me for valentines day. i like having the itouch with me, keeping me on task - but i also have to visually see the calendar either on the fridge or somewhere around here. thanks for your input!

kika i couldn't agree more! it is so freeing for me, i love what you said about not stressing about one task simply because you know it will get done on ____ day. that has been huge for me. sounds like we have a lot in common :)

becky, for me, getting the baby on a routine was always #1 over housework and other :) it is then that i feel things get into order. i am a true believer that you can get a baby on some sort of a routine, and furthermore they really thrive on it. so props to you for trying to keep things similar throughout o's days. all the rest of it will fall into place eventually :) hugs!
