Kevin bought me the domain name kevinandamanda.com in 2002 for the one year anniversary of our first date. We weren’t even married yet!
When I was in high school, I had a very basic webpage I used to share photos and keep in touch with friends and family. We didn’t have blogging, Flickr, or Facebook back then. Not even MySpace! As I added more photos, I quickly outgrew the data limit for a free page. On our anniversary, Kevin asked me what domain name I’d want if I were to ever get my own. I answered “kevinandamanda.com!” without hesitation. With a grin, he playfully replied, “Let’s check and see if it’s taken”. He pulled the site, with me looking anxiously over his shoulder, and it was a simple countdown clock… to our wedding day.
I love taking photos and finding myself in the middle of a story. I love reading other blogs and getting a glimpse at how everyone else does it. I’m also thinking about food 24 hours a day, so the recipe creations stem from that.
I love helping people. And I love hearing from my sweet readers.
