We’ve been…  So, when I learned that this month was all about “A Day in the Life” here at The Creative Mama, I had this idea to chronicle my day in snapshots. In doing so, I realized that my days were pretty boring. I tried to spice it up a bit . [Larger, readable version HERE - you…  I absolutely adore the Texas wildflower season. Sometimes it’s really, really short. Sometimes it’s non-existant. But thanks to a lot of early rain, I think we’re in for an incredible season. For the past 8 years, I’ve taken my kids out into the bluebonnets to get pictures and I plan to carry that tradition on…  [Note: for those of you looking for the website, you can now find Laurie and Brooke's creations at www.brookesangelwings.com.] Grab a cup of coffee and some tissues and then whatever you do, please read this entire post…it could very well save a child’s life and that is no exaggeration by any stretch of the word….  I was really excited about working on this project with Shawna (did you even SEE her wonderful pics in part 1 yesterday????!!!), but I’m going to admit, the execution wasn’t as easy as I had imagined. Not sure what I was thinking about she and I having to wrangle our two kids under age 3…  I gave this image to 36 different photographers to edit: No two are alike. Interesting, huh? In this day, it’s always “bigger is better” and “gosh, just look how small an 8×10 looks on your wall.” Yes, I know, I know…in my (our) line of work, we want clients to appreciate the beauty in selecting a single image and blowing up…
