Today is my birthday (boooooo), but I thought it might be fun to share a few little birthday wishes of mine in the hopes that by making them public, perhaps a few of them will come true. On my birthday, I wish…
…that Anthropologie wasn’t so darned expensive.
…foundation would wash out of a certain dress.
…we celebrated birthdays based upon personal growth instead of a number (READ this book!). Of course, I can’t decide if that would make me significantly older or significantly younger.
…we truly could bottle up a scent and make it last forever. I used this lotion the other day and instantly, I was transported back to our trip to Hawaii this spring.
…she had a store so I could physically caress each and every item she makes. Seriously, browse her store online if you dare. (Note who the shoes pictured above were named after
)
…one of my children picks up a camera to shoot with me someday.
…my emails would answer themselves.
…that my children realize that the gifts you can’t buy in a store are the greatest gifts…*before* they’re in their thirties.
Oh. And one more thing: world peace.

Elizabeth Dahl - There are so many little things I could wish for. Money is much-wished for around here these days, because of all the things we need and the ways we could get ahead with it. But apart from that, I am so incredibly content with my loving husband, heart warming little girl, and the sweet surprise due to arrive in March. I wish I could just hold onto the beauty and joy and memories of these young-family days, forever…I never want to loose this.
