I am working out just how to create a clothesline display over my mantle where I can hang photos, words, and other small art pieces that inspire me. I can’t wait to get it installed. Just trying to figure out how to best hang the clothesline from the wall. :D This is totally for me!

Great post, with some very important reminders. We are living in an amazing time in history–there is literally an endless supply of inspiration and opportunity right at our fingertips through the Internet. I’m so happy that opportunities are opening up for you – you deserve them. When I first stopped working outside the home, a neighbor with grown children asked me how things were going. I told her about all the things I found to fill my new schedule. She told me “Space abhors a vacuum.” You, my friend, are smart enough to not fill that vacuum with things (even good things) that take away from your priorities.

I loved what you wrote about running as a mom. One of my friends told me that she’s struggling to be motivated to run again after having #2 and I shared with her my ulterior motive – it’s a time for me to be quiet in my mind and something that I do all by myself (pretty much the only thing, these days). I ran a half marathon yesterday and today feel that “high” of having completed a tangible goal. Thanks for the encouragement and sharing your story.
