It’s been a few weeks since our last party and we have some new faces around here, so here is a brief re-introduction to what ‘Get Your Creative On’ is all about! This is a fun way for you to get involved and think outside your box! Whether you are already a creative mind, secretly wish you were, or are scared to death to give ‘er a try – I hope you’ll join in. Please don’t be shy, link up to something creative you did recently, or not so recently. Here are the rules:
- Your creativity can be anything from a DIY to a creative way you told your husband you love him. Perhaps you got creative with dinner this week, or maybe a creative way you saved some cash. If you aren’t a “crafter” have no fear! There are a gagillion ways to be creative in this life.
- You aren’t required to use a brand-spankin’ new post. Feel free to link to something creative from the past that you’re proud of.
- You’ll be linking up to your weekly Get Your Creative On. Be sure you are linking to the permalink (if you are unsure, click the title of your post, then you’ll use the link in your address bar, your permalink).
- Of course I’d be flattered if you wanted to link back here to the Get Your Creative On party!
With our recent series overflowing with photography-related inspiration I’m certain even just a few of you have something to share! Can’t wait to cozy up tonight to read through your posts.

“Celebrate goood times, come on…there’s a party going on right here, a celebration…” (Just had to give you a song to sing today!) If I was working today I would say TGIF!!, but alas, it is summer…”school’s out for the summer!!” Enough, stop me!!! Happy GYCO Day!!LOL!
Where is everybody? I thought I was late this morning! I’ll have to check back in later.
Thanks for hosting-I love seeing everyone’s creativity!
I’m totally stealing from my 8 year old today, but she did such a great job. I had to show it off!
I don’t have a picture – yet- but I have been working on a slip-cover for an overstuffed chair that I will use as a reading chair in my girls bedroom. I’ll attach a photo when I finish — hopefully next week! I work during the day (outside the house) so I can only work on it after bedtime. :o)
Happy Friday!
