Welcome to the first official Get Your Creative On party, where you get to be involved and show off something creative you are proud of. Read a bit more about it, and grab the button HERE. I hope you’ll link up below, I’m looking forward to browsing through your creative ideas!

My featured creative-diva today is Rachel H, who recently sent some images of her own Shabby Chic – Distress for Less project. I was thrilled and thought it turned out great! Thanks Rachel for sharing! Here is what she had to say:

I wanted to thank you for the blog on distressing furniture-I have been wanting to fix my nasty old coffee table for a while now because the finish was nearly gone off the top-and I love it! Thought that you might enjoy! Thanks again!

Thanks so much for providing a forum to share! This easy-to-sew custom size drawstring bag isn’t as “creative” as other projects perhaps, but it is so easy, durable, colorful, and useful for organizing so many things, I had to share. I hope to “see” you next Friday, have a wonderful holiday Memorial Day weekend!!

I’m going to look forward to this Friday blog party every week. It just so happens that I unleashed all of my creative juices into my wee one’s birthday party, so it was fun to share. I can’t wait to read everyone else’s.

Thanks for setting this up ang!

Ang… don’t be disappointed in me… (head hanging low). I did write about this today but I am not going to link up this week. When you read it, you’ll see why! Oh and I could not get your button to work for the life of me! What is up with that? Did anyone else have any trouble with it? Thanks for doing this! I AM up for the challenge!!!

This is a great idea. I have been wanting to post about my new jewelry storage for a while and just haven’t done it – mostly because of my embarrassingly low picture quality! I’m looking forward to some more creative ideas!

Well, mine isn’t the typical “creative” lol but it’s VERY Julia. I had fun in my pantry today, organizing, and creating a space for my stockpile. Yes, a frugal at heart, not so creative though.

What a fun idea! :) I linked mine! :) The table turned out just LOVELY! I adore that table! My coffee table needs a lift too! I bought it to paint but instead made and slapped a table cloth over it and let my birds hang out on it on their play pen. sigh….must paint asap. :)

I love seeing all the creativity! so fun! :)

Hey there Ladies!!!
I am linking to my Father’s Day Gift Idea.
I just posted this this week, what a co-inky-dink!!!

This was so easy to make, it is almost embarrassing…

I am off to the beach with my hubby for the weekend- a beautiful B&B in a historic old carriage house in St. Augustine…
sans kids…
AAAAAAAAAAhhh
can you say “R&R”?
