A bit about Clickin Moms…
As a member myself I can tell you what a warm and inspirational community it is, though I wish I had more time to put into it! The ladies are so welcoming and the forums are just bursting with information, I could spend days soaking it all in. I thought I’d ask a few current members to share their Clickin Moms love with the rest of us as well!
- Samantha | I could write a book with all the positive thing I can say about this forum. I was among the first group to sign up when Kendra started Clickinmoms. I was just a “mom with a camera” looking to take better pictures of my daughter. I owned a DSLR but didn’t know anything beyond putting it on auto and clicking the shutter button. In the year and a half that I’ve had my membership I feel that I have learned above and beyond what I could have in a formal photography course. I’ve not only learned how to operate my camera and photoshop, but I’ve learned how to run a successful business (which is coming up on it’s one year anniversary in December). If I have a question about photography or running a photography business, I go to clickinmoms first. I know someone will be able to help me. Not only is there a wealth of knowledge with videos, tutorials and step-by-step instructions, but the atmosphere is super friendly and everyone is very helpful. I’m so thankful to be a part of such a caring, unique, professional community.
- Kim | I love CM because of the friendly, welcoming vibe, there is no judgment or negativity on someone’s talent, the pay it forward section shows just what an amazing and generous group of moms the site has!!
- Amanda | I joined CM in August and for the first months I lurked a lot. Through all my lurking I realized that there is truly a sisterhood in the forums. The camraderie and support that pros and hobbyists offer each other is helpful and inspiring. CM truly is like settling in at the cafe with your favorite camera-wielding girlfriends — lots of helpful advice, support and encouragement. Now if they could only figure out how to serve coffee with the advice and friendship…
- Megan | I joined way back when it first started, and just love it there. There is a support network on that board that you won’t find anywhere else. The positive attitude of its members, combined with the vast range of photographers (both in specialty and in expertise), make it unique and wonderful. I can’t even begin to detail how much I’ve learned from everyone there.

I recently joined on a month to month basis and can’t believe how useful this forum has been. I’m JSO and thinking of going semi-pro and the information I have found on this forum has really put it all in perspective for me. What a lovely giveaway! This mama could definitely use some help in the “clicking” department. I have owned a DSLR for 3 years and it’s only taken pictures on the auto setting b/c I have yet to take the time to learn my camera. I’ve heard such great things about CM and I would love to win!

ooh, how awesome is this!! i had never heard of the site before, but i would love to be part of a group like that! i already have my business going (website still in progress–that’s why i didn’t post the link), but it’s having a little bit of a slow start, and on top of that we’re going to be moving soon… it would be so great to be able to get advice and critiques from so many other great photographers!!

i have visited the CM website several times to check it out. i have wanted to become a member for a long time, but just can’t afford it. i would be ever so thankful for a year of exposure to people who have been where i am and made their way to where they are now and graciously share their journey. i would surely take advantage of the CM resources and cram as much into my little brain as possible in that years time…and perhaps with the knowledge i learn in that year, i will be able to better establish myself with my few photography skills and i would be able to continue to subscribe to CM.

Wow I would love to win this! My daughter is all grown up now (sniff sniff) at university but I still love to take lots of pictures of the moments of her life…and I am now a great aunt of two perfectly adorable little ones ages 4 months and 2 years old and snap away at them as well! This would be so wonderful!

I am a semi-professional photographer who got started by taking my kids’ school pictures. I figured I could do a better job than they did! I branched out into senior pictures, family pictures, etc. of my family and my friends’ families because no one seemed to be able to afford the higher priced photographers.
