I love that this started out as a hobby for her and now it’s her business. That’s the best part, I think, when your passion becomes your livelihood. She takes beautiful photos.

I love the colors of her photos and she has the best of both worlds – her passion for a living. With her husband! Some of us could only dream that. :-)

I loved Mika’s style and where she mentioned it takes a lot of patience to grow a successful business. It always seems everyone is an overnight sensation, so it’s encouraging to hear that it took these awesome photographers time too!

I LOVE Mika’s Style, mostly I love the skin, I know it sounds weird but her pictures are so natural and so real AND everyone has perfect skin, not just in texture but in lighting and tone too.
I’m always drawn to her work because it looks like real life only better!
(I was actually looking at Mika’s site RIGHT before I clicked over here- to see her again!)

I love that the photog talked about not posing them…just making sure they are in the best light…I like the idea of the photos being more natural and not being so posed.

Loved how she dealt with pushy brides . . don’t do weddings! And I liked that it started out as a hobby then turned into her full time business . . . BUT not so on love with her comment about not seeing herself doing this at 50 . . . huh? At 50 you no longer have kids at home to run after . . your time is more “YOUR TIME” and you find out just now much you really DO love what you are doing!! :)

I’m a huge fan of Mika’s work. I love how she points out that each photographer needs to develop their own style that’s true to themselves in order to set the apart from everyone else. I also like how down to Earth she seems. And yes, I actually laughed at the shots of Patron comment… :)
