I really enjoy reading about other photographers. I love that everyone has a different style. Joyce’s tips were great! I can’t wait to be able to help provide for my family with my future photography business!

I loved hearing that it is possible to take great pictures without a lot of equipment. I am soaking up all of the information I can these days, and hope to be a “big-girl photographer” sometime soon!

Love hearing about bringing laughter, humor and fun into the work. So refreshing. i love personality in pictures… pictures that make you smile, giggle or simply feel as young and silly as the little ones in the photo. Giggle. sigh.

I love that Joyce is self taught. I am also truly inspired by her reaffirmation that it’s not what you have but how you use what you’ve got, which is superbly displayed by her simple approach and beautiful images.

  • Stephanie

I loved hearing about all the schooling she has but she chose photography which was following her passion!

  • Diana Sanders

I love that she loves “the unexpected moments” such as the tutu at the bathroom sink! These are what make great memories and portraits!

I love that her images are so beautiful and feel so finished, but at the same time have a very clean, natural look.
Not the baby origami and elaborate post-processing that you see so much of (not that I don’t love that baby origami!)

What’s not to love about Joyce? She’s honest without being fluffy or harsh, she writes so well, and her photos are magical. I loved what she said about her favorite time to photograph. It’s my favorite too, and I’m always so bummed when they’ve not been practicing and aren’t able to sit up well.

Oh I wish I was as business minded as her, looking at her wordsmith.

I love what she said about 7-8 mo. old babies being her favorite to photograph. I was picturing these sweet babies giggling and curiously crawling around as a photographer smiled and watched and captured every sweet moment she could :-). Thanks for such great information and such a sweet giveaway!
