Welcome! The Photography Series has come and gone and gosh, it was so much fun! I have been excited to jump back into the regular DIYs, articles of the heart, nifty downloads and such – but according to my stats we have quite a few new readers, 400 or so to be exact. I’m honored, humbled, and excited to think there are nearly 800 subscribers to my little blog here. Thank you for coming along for the ride! I hope you find it encouraging, down-to-earth, and just a great place to stop by and sit for a bit.
Some of you have been around since the beginning – thank you. Others may have wondered over via another blog, or perhaps you were sucked in during the fantastic giveaways these last few weeks. Whatever the reason I’m happy to have you on board, and thought I’d give you a bit of an insight to who I am, and what this here blog is all about.
About me
I shared a bit about me here, and you may check out some recent snaps that melted my heart here – but really I’m just a stay-at-home mama who cameos as a children’s photographer. I wear my heart on my sleeve, lose my patience with my kids, and often wish I were better at multi-tasking. I’d love to say I get up every morning, bake breakfast for my children, put on my “best dress” and a smile – alas I am no super woman.
However, I do my best to give my family the love and hugs they deserve – and turn around to share with the rest of you my latest musings, love for all things creative, and perhaps a latest project or two. I’m on a journey to bettering myself, and am constantly learning new and invaluable things about me. I hope you’ll hop on for the ride, and perhaps learn something new about you as well!
About the blog
It started as yet another creative itch, back during the holidays. I wanted to share with others the millions of ideas floating in my head, the moments that took my breath away, the tiniest and most inexpensive ways to brighten ones day.
January of this year The Creative Mama was born and since then I’ve been blessed meet so many wonderful, gracious, kind-hearted and talented women. The community that has been built here through the comments you share puts a smile on my face, and warms my heart.
