Lets get fit!

gglets decide to just go for it, shall we? try something different perhaps? maybe yoga or pilates, how about rock climbing or a jazz dance class? whatever it is, even if just walking – make the commitment to do it.

perhaps you want to involve the kids? our little ones seem to have so much energy as it is, gather some of that for an afternoon game of tag. if the weather is good you could go exploring.

this is one i really need to work on, remembering it takes 21 days to form a habit, so allow this time to set in. it will be so worth it!

Man o man. I wish I could work out period. Im so unhappy with my body right now and cringe at photos of myself. My biggest issues right now are eating horrible, not having a sitter to go at it full force, and lack of sleep. As well as feeling super isolated here. Okay sorry for the downer of a comment. I just need a swift kick in the pants!

aw becky, it is so so hard with a little one. i completely understand where you are coming from. i think i wrote this one purely for myself! i need to get my own butt in motion. help, help! :)

i looked into mommy and me swim class for me and O but im so tired i dont think i could go regularly.

Oh man you hit the nail on the head. Exercise . . . never convenient to start, but totally worth it once I do. I was told this weekend that no amount of exercise is worthless. All exercise has value. What a concept! I get discouraged when I only get one or two days of exercise a week. Or one of the babies gets sick and my would be routine goes out the window. So, I went to a jazzercize class. Ha, ha. Laugh all you want. I did. And it was SO FUN! I’m still sore. Feels great!

jackie thanks for sharing! that is a really good point and i find myself feeling the same thing – if i can’t get at it every day or even the majority of the week i feel as if it wasn’t worth it. it is though! any little amount helps. jazzercize sounds absolutely fun!! i’d love to attempt that one day :)

Before I bought my treadmill, I used power-walking video tapes in my living room. My two young daughters loved to join in!
