This past week, I was searching for downloadable planning sheets. There is nothing wrong with what I used last year, but I always like to start fresh. I like to look at new things. It helps me think differently and be inspired.
In my search, not only did I find fabulous planning pages, but I found a blog that was new and inspiring as well! Heartmadeblog.com is the website of creative coach, designer, artist, cupcake addict Mayi Carles. Within all the wonders this superwoman is doing, I discovered Mayi’s “Life Is Messy Planner Pages”. These pages are custom made by Mayi to not only plan the days, but plan the future. They were designed for the creative person who wants to do great things.
Mayi was gracious enough to let me get my hands on some of her pages. This one was my favorite.

This page struck me because it wasn’t the basic wish list of what you’d like to accomplish. It breaks down your main goal into not just what you want, but why you want it. Isn’t the “why” what its all about anyway?
Also included in this planning page set:
- a weekly blog planner (.pdf)
- a weekly meal planner (.pdf)
- a monthly action planner (.pdf)
- a monthly blog planner (.pdf)
- a goal generator (.pdf)
- a resolution board + tracker (.pdf)
- a bullet proof your goals worksheet (.pdf)
- a 2011 earning goals spreadsheet (.xls)
- a 2011 investment spreadsheet (.xls)
Life Is Messy Planning pages are complete and different. Would you like a set of your own? Mayi has been so generous and is giving a set of her planning pages to one The Creative Mama reader – a $20 value. Just leave a comment and tell us why you need these pages! The winner will be chosen at random on Thursday, January 13th.
If you just can’t wait to get your hands on these pages or want to buy them for a friend, head over to Heartmadeblog.com or her gorgeous etsy shop and download them right now!

Kelly Jankowski - I have been making changes in my life for the past few months. (I don’t do New Year’s resolutions!) These would be excellent to help me plan and be organized in the changes I make.
Marylin - Oh wow, these look gorgeous!
My New Year’s resolution is to get organised.
I know, it’s quite vague, but that’s because it’s more to do with my mindset, rather than actually organising every little bit of my life! I’m sure these gorgeous planners would help.
Lisa W. - These pages sound great and perfect for me! I need these pages because I have 6 children,3 I home school and 3 are in public school so my life is kinda all over the place trying to remember what each child needs day to day.
I’m the sort of person who needs direction. Without it, it’s hard for me to bring a project to completion. 1. I need to be able to set a goal 2. make a plan to meet it 3. Execute the goal and 4.complete it. I usually am good with 1 and 3. 2 and 4 not so much. This pretty much covers my entire life since it carries over into how I homeschool, run my household, and any volunteering I may do (although I do finish the volunteer work, because of poor planning it’s always stressful).
please help!
Becky - They are so friendly, chic and positive!

Cheryl - I need these so much. I have so many ideas I want to accomplish, I’m a great starter but not so much on the getting it done area. I think these would help me tremendously. I also have better menu planning as one of my goals for 2011.

Amanda M. - How inspiring! Thank you for the resource! I would love organizational tools like these. This past year has been a crazy ride for me – I became a wife and mother all while I finished my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy! My goal for 2011 – SIMPLICITY, in every aspect of the word. I have been feeling overwhelmed with my husband being out of work, a baby, and just starting a new part-time job. I was having a particularly rough evening while trying to figure out how to get a schedule together for my family for cooking, eating, job searching, playing, dates, personal time, etc. when I came across your website. I saw a blog entry about “simplicity” and everything made sense to me! I started cleaning up the clutter in my life physically (cleaning out closets, old clothes, books, etc), and started journaling to clean up the clutter in my brain!
Having tools to help achieve this goal for me and my family would be an amazing help! Thank you, again, for sharing!

Marcy - I need these perfect planning pages because this is MY year! The year I fianlly stick to my goals. The year I cut down on clutter and find those things I waste time looking for that I know are “somewhere”. The year I find a place for everything and keep everything in it’s place. The year I get to enjoy more me time because I’m dealing with those obstacles that take up too much time. But in order to accomplish all this, I need a new. fresh planner, for my (not so) new, but definately, accomplishable goals. Thanks for the chance to win!
Rebecca - I love these pages because they involve a journaling of sorts, which are handwritten. In this age of smartphones, iPads, etc., I miss seeing my goals and achievements written down(with a good old-fashioned pen), checked off and to have a lasting imprint to look back on at the end of the year. Michelle - I need these amazing planning pages because my whole family wants me to find some sort of balance with all the hats I wear. Of course, I’m convinced that “balance” is less attainable than a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, but they want me to be balanced, nonetheless! Thank you!!
