Welcome Melaine Thompson from My Sweet Savannah. Melaine’s blog is pure pleasure for the eyes. Beautiful home decor and home inspiration. You will leave inspired and wanting to redecorate at least on part of your home.

My blog highlights interior design. I try to give low cost ideas for re-creating high priced items. I also talk about my 2 kids, my husband and our life at the lake.
I think about 3 years, but I honestly don’t remember.
I started to have a place for myself to record all my hand painted items, that I was making at the time. It has evolved from there and now I offer online design consultations as well as diy projects.
I find inspiration EVERYWHERE! I find it on other blogs, at flea markets, in magazines, in quirky little vacation towns, etc.
I blog to share my creative ideas and to share with others my flea market finds and how to turn trash into treasure. It’s so fun to see the comments and reactions I get when I do posts!
Hum, good question. I can’t really think of anything. It’s not really a challenge to me, it’s something I like to do and look forward to doing.
Meeting all these fun ladies out there! I have gotton together with people at flea markets, had coffee dates with them, and some just talked to over the phone. Some of my best friends I have never even met face to face!
Post, post, and then post some more. Don’t be intimidated, just go for it!
Oh, the list is long. I love DIY blogs, interior decor blogs and I love happening upon new blogs I’ve never discovered. A few of my favorites are, Dreamy Whites, The Polished Pebble, Fern Creek Cottage, A Country Farmhouse, The Old Painted Cottage, Dear Lillie, Miss Mustard Seed, and Lola B’s, to name a few!
My blog is in the process of getting a makeover. In the end I hope to have it be easier for people to navigate through. I also plan on continuing doing giveaways. I think they are so much fun and who wouldn’t like to win a fabulous prize?!
I like to use sitemeter to see how many page views I get, etc. I also LOVE my followers!
I have an etsy shop, although I don’t have much in it right now! All of my inventory has been going to the new Ruffles and Rust square in Snohomish Washington. If you are ever in the area this is a must see! All the vendors have a variety of the cream of the crop in antiques!
