Summer Memories

I don’t jump on every trend but I have to tell you that the seasonal “bucket list” trend works for me. If I don’t plan to be intentional about my summer, it will be gone before I know it. And this summer is an important one.  It’s the last summer before my oldest starts kindergarten and I want to make the most of it.

So I’ve crafted a list of 15 activities I want to accomplish before summer ends.  We’ll inevitably do many more than 15 but these are the memories I want to make this summer.  Once I post this on my refrigerator, I’ll have my two little birds on board.

If you need some some ideas to make your summer memorable, check out my Summer Memories Pinterest page.  I’ve pinned over 30 ideas and I’ll be adding to it.

What about you, dear readers? What memories will you be making this summer?

I just did this for the first time – my 4 year old is excited and we’ve already crossed 3 activities off the list. It’s looking like a fun summer!

I created a list like this with my husband for this summer. We have 15 things on our list. I posted about it here if you want to take a peek. :) http://goo.gl/1hbGv I think its such a good way to live intentionally and savor all the good things that summer brings. :) Thanks for the reminder.

I do love this idea and hope to have our family’s list posted by the end of the day :) In the past I have been very structured about the summer- doing specific activities on certain days of the week- but the bucket list, I’m finding, is giving me a great balance of a little structure and plenty of room for spontaneity (something I need to work on- ha!)
