We love the Shel Silverstein books-The Giving Tree,and Where the Sidewalk Ends. Those are great ones here! As well as Where the Wild Things Are, (they are making a movie of that! yay!)

We LOVE to read. My 2 year old loves Dora, Dr. Suess and Goodnight Gorilla. My 8 year old loves mysteries, Bible stories, Boxcar Children, Magic Treehouse, and Nate the Great. We all love The Seven Silly Eaters about the Peters family of picky eaters.

I love that my 2y/o is totally obsessed with his books. Some of our favorites are “My Truck is Stuck,” “Rockabye Farm,” and “The Little Red Caboose.”

my son loved(s) silly books. as a toddler his favorites were blue hat,green hat by sandra boynton. he’d start giggling in anticipation of the turkey jumping into the pool fully dressed! He also loved Dinosaur ROar by the sticklands. now that he’s older his tastes have matured to dav pilkey and the captain underpants series. my daughter is the true reader of the family and was even recognized in second grade for reading the most books in her entire school- they have a program that allow the kids to take a test after each book they read. recently,she devoured all 13 books in the series of unfortunate events. it’s awesome to see them reading.
