The topic of friendship has been on my mind a lot lately, and we’ve had some great discussion amongst readers on the subject. Day to day life can be exhausting, whether you work or stay at home. There are appointments to be made, meetings to attend, deadlines to be met. Sometimes just getting through a busy week is enough to send any of us into a tailspin!
How you ask, are we to keep up with the the smallest details?
Today I’m referring to the friendship-details. There are just a few people in my life that I could easily tell you all about. There are others, with whom I am close to – but couldn’t tell you their favorite color, or their drink of choice from Starbucks. When one has a birthday, I may know just what to do for them – but lets be honest, sometimes I’m clueless! A few years ago I came up with this little worksheet, sent out an email asking all of my friends to fill in the questions and get back to me. I am in desperate need of updating this, and will be soon.
I wanted to share it with my readers, in case you are in the same place as me, wanting so badly to keep up with your friendship-details, but finding it difficult. It’s quite simple, print it out (as many as needed). You could pull an Ang and send an email, or maybe something more personal like a phone call, asking a bit more about your friends than you may already know. How wonderful to be able to reference this handy sheet during Christmas, birthdays, or for those out-of-the-blue moment in which you know they just might need a “coffee-break”. I’d love to know what you think of it,
and if you already keep track of the
friendship-details, please do share!
