I went out to lunch with a friend the other day, and this message came to me in the form of a fortune cookie. No truer message could have been given to me. Sometimes I really just need to be patient. When you work really hard, you expect to see results quickly. Sometimes it does not work out that way. It can be frustrating of course, but good things are not always on my time line. I just need to learn to sit back, and be patient. As hard as that may be.

Here is what I am looking at this weekend:

1. Valentine’s Day is on Tuesday, and I am spending the weekend making Valentine’s with my children. I am making this one for my 2nd grader, this one for my 3 year old, and bags of this for my kindergartner. I love Valentine’s Day.

2. I am excited for this course to start. I need a kick in the pants sometimes to realize that being a working artist also means being a businesswoman. This will help me immensely.

3. This might be a cute decoration to make for my Valentine’s Dinner.

4. This post has been bouncing around the Internet from our lovely Hayley, and it speaks to me. Every. Single. Day.

5. We are working on an upcoming series about a subject that affected me and many, many others. Our brave Stacey shares her story on her blog. But come back the week of March 5th, we will be talking about it all week.

Have a wonderful week.
