What DIY Tutorials Would YOU Like to See?

What kind of DIY projects would you like to see on The Creative Mama this fall?  I want to use these weeks leading up to the holidays wisely.  I want to plan, plot, and navigate to help bring you the best ideas, directions, and inspiration this season.

Why do you DIY?  Is it to save some hard-earned cash?  Does it give you an escape from the beautifully mundane tasks of everyday life?  Do you find empowerment from making something from nothing?  Do you like to do projects with your kids?

What would you like to see in this space?  Holiday-themed DIYs?  Decor or gifts?  Would you like to see more papercrafts, sewing, crafting, or constructing?  Do you want to see family friendly projects or something that you can make just for you?

I want these tutorials to be just perfect for YOU.  But, I know so little about you and what drives you to do-it-yourself.  I would love to know what you’d like to see in this space.  Please speak up in the comments, because I know YOU oh sweet Creative Mama have ideas of what you’d like to see here.

I cannot wait to bring you some great ideas leading up to this season of giving and joy.  I cannot wait to find amazing ideas to deck our halls and bring warmth to our homes.  Please let me know what you’d like to see in this column.

    They all sound like great ideas. I love holiday decoration so would love to see some of that, and ideas that can be done w/ kiddos are also a lot of fun.

    I’d like to see some inspiration and or DIY instructions for felt and other hair accessories. I plan to make some for my dear sister-in-law for Christmas. She told me she’s cutting her hair short and I know she’d try some hip new styles of accessories.

    I’m also into felt gifts now for my nephew and twin neice-and-nephew-to-be.

    I have no idea, however, what to make my dad and husband. Though art is always an option….any other hand made ideas?

    It’s a handmade Christmas around here!

    Thanks for asking all of this!
    I’d love to see DIY because 1) it’s fun for me 2) I feel gifts are so much more meaningful when hand made and 3) to save some cash. :)

    Handmade gifts and packaging would be great!!! I love to give gifts but it can get really expensive, especially when on a tight budget latley. :) Knitting hats and things would be great!!! Thanks!

    I would love to see anything related to school crafts, learning crafts/ideas, and holiday crafts for kids as keepsakes. The one specific tutorial I’ve been looking for is “how to take good photos in the classroom.” It always seems a challenge with lighting, clutter, alot of kids around on how to get that capture the everyday moment shot at school.
