The Creative Mama » inspiring art, encouraging women

who’s ready for Christmas?! (totally kidding.)

Wouldn’t we all like to be that Creative Mama who gets her laundry done every Sunday, writes thank you notes the moment the gift is unwrapped, knows the perfect dish to make for every occasion, and has Halloween costumes ready (handmade!) before October even starts?

Now raise your hand if you are that Mama.

Not only will I admit to never, ever being that Mama, I think I’ll also admit to not even trying anymore. It’s too daunting! Instead I choose to spend my time working on more valuable pursuits…like perfecting my Master Bedroom pinboard. 😉

But despite all my failings (and there are many) I’m here today to put you well ahead of the Creative Mama pack when it comes to one relentless yearly task…Christmas cards.

As a photographer I struggle every year to put together a set of quality card templates that will please my clients. But this year I took matters into my own hands, teaming up with digital designer Shelley Decker, to create my very own line of holiday templates. And friends, these aren’t just for photographers! They’re for Mamas just like you too!

Clean Slate Designs is a spinoff of my original photographer’s tool, Clean Color. The templates that we offer at Clean Slate Designs are easy to use, affordable, and on trend. And most of all, they’re available NOW, which means you’ll be way ahead of the holiday train. Heck, it’s not even Halloween!  Maybe you are that ultra-timely Creative Mama afterall!

So check ’em out and see for yourself. Photographers can shop for full sets at our Clean Slate Designs Store and regular ol’ supermamas can peruse our selection of individual templates at our Etsy shop. If you’re a photographer shopping for a collection than use the code “hooray” for $10 off any purchase between now and this Friday, September 28th.

Happy shopping!
