write your own mission statement
“my mission in life is to make people happy.” -walt disney
it can be short & sweet or a lengthy description. if you are a list-maker like myself, you might decide to jot down some things in list form. perhaps you would rather write it essay style. if it takes you all week, that’s okay! this isn’t an assignment you will be presenting to anyone, it is personal and it is yours.
what inspires you most? what do you believe in? what are you passionate about? what do you want to accomplish?
think of some ways you can implement your new mission statement into your every day life. allow this statement to change and evolve with time. that is the beauty of this project. each and every day we face new situations which mold us into the beautiful creatures we are. it is in being honest with ourselves that we are able to be better people to those around us. now, take some time to think it… and write it.
if you are willing, i’d be interested to read even a glimpse of your mission statement! happy writing!

We have a family mission statement and it is from the Bible: John 10:10
“Living life to the full”
It really has become a central part of our family. Helps us keep on track- even helped us name our children. BOTH of our children’s names mean “Life”. Vivia Victoria- (victorious life) and Paolo Rio Chaim- (Little river of life).
My personal one, as my role as a mom, lately has been
Psalm 84:3
Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young at a place near your altar, O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God!
This inspires me as I raise my kids to live a God-centric life. And helps me to keep mine there as well…
freedom – i love that your mission statements revolve around scripture, thank you so much for sharing those verses!
I haven’t yet formed an actual mission statement. However,it is always my desire to “bear the light of hope & encouragement” to those in my circle of influence. I also want to be and offer a “Safe House” to others (as in underground railroad – supporting others on their journey towards freedom).
